Actor Ruth Codd, best known for last year's film 'The Fall of the House of Usher' has joined the cast of 'How to Train Your Dragon', reports 'The Hollywood Reporter'. She will play Phlegma, a Viking who lives in the same village as Hiccup. Codd will join Mason Thames and Nico Parker who portray Hiccup and Astrid respectively. After the animated adaptation of Cressida Cowell's characters, Dean DeBlois, returns to write and direct the live-action project of DreamWorks Animation.

The other actors appearing in 'How to Train Your Dragon' include Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
