How Matthew Perry responded to Jennifer Aniston's rejection after being "attracted" to her right away

Long before they played Chandler Bing and Rachel Green on the popular television show "Friends," Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston got to know one another.

About three years prior to their tenure on the NBC comedy, the two met through mutual acquaintances, and Perry was honest about his sentiments right away.

He was a little too eager to call her after booking two roles in one day, so the actress politely declined his request.

Perry would continue to be captivated when they began filming "Friends" in 1994.

He further stated that when we were shooting for Friends in the start he still used to like Jennifer Aniston and for some time their meetings on the set were a little awkward, I would then ask myself, "How long can I look at her?" after that. Three seconds—is that too much?
