House of the Dragon, which serves as a prequel to the celebrated fantasy drama TV series Game of Thrones, also produced by HBO, will now finally release the next season this year. The last season somewhat ended on a cliffhanger and will continue with Aegon Targaryen's reign on the Iron Throne.
