King Viserys’ Son
So far, House of the Dragon, HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, has pleased fans with its storyline. However, some fans have observed that one of the notable characters still has not appeared. The missing character is Daeron Targaryen, the third son of King Viserys. Fans reason that though he would be young in the current period in the show, he would be present.George R.R. Martin’s Reveal
George R.R. Martin addressed random things in his live journal website, one of which was that Daeron Targaryen is coming up soon in House of the Dragon. He also spoke about the fact that there was so much more detail the show could go into but didn’t have the time for. He said that Daeron is around but that the show has not had the time yet to feature him onscreen. Martin revealed that Daeron, who would be around 15 at this point in the show, is at Oldtown, the domain of House Hightower. His being the third son means that his presence in the capital is not vital, and he is getting his education in his family’s hometown. It is good news for fans.
