House of the Dragon Episode 9: When will new episode be aired?

In its penultimate episode, House of the Dragon, which is set in the days following the death of King Viserys, is preparing for a stunning new turn of events. The series established early on that Paddy Considine's King Viserys I Targaryen was responsible for maintaining harmony between his family's Hightower and Targaryen branches.

This coming Sunday, October 16, the newest episode of House of the Dragon will air on HBO and the HBO Max streaming service.

The new episode will air as usual at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

This episode will set the setting for The Dance of the Dragons, the Targaryen civil war that will wreak devastation and harm future generations, making it extremely important.
