Release Date

The Honkai Star Rail 2.6 update will be released on October 23, 2024. This was confirmed during the Version 2.6 livestream on October 11, 2024. Unlike previous updates, Version 2.6 will only introduce one new character. Rappa, a 5-star Imaginary Erudition unit, will be available immediately when the update is live.

In addition to Rappa, Phase 1 of the update will feature Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. Phase 2 will include Aventurine and Acheron, offering players a chance to engage with returning characters.

New Location

Players will return to the location of Penacony in this update, exploring a new area called Penacony Paperfold University College. This university, located in the Moment of Sol, is known for producing highly skilled individuals. Players will interact with characters, such as March 7th, Dan Heng, and the examiner, Mr. Reca, as they navigate this new setting.

A new mission, Trailblaze Continuance — Banna Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity, will challenge players to solve the mysteries of the mechanized monkeys found in Penacony Paperfold University College.

New Relic Sets

Version 2.6 introduces two new relic sets: Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal and Scholar Lost In Erudition. These relics will offer players new advantages. The Scholar Lost In Erudition set increases CRIT Rate and DMG, while Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal boosts SPD and CRIT DMG.

Simulated Universe Expansion

The third Simulated Universe DLC will also launch with Version 2.6. This expansion, called the Unknowable Domain, follows Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. Players will need to collect Scepters and Components to enhance their abilities and combine them for powerful synergies. These combinations will help defeat the final boss of the update.
