Gomez officially confirmed her relationship with the producer about six months into their romance on December 7, responding to fans on Instagram by declaring Blanco "is my absolute everything in my heart," expressing her happiness in the relationship. She continued to share glimpses of their connection on her Instagram Story, including a photo of her distinctive "B" ring, presumably dedicated to Blanco.
Approximately a week later, Gomez made their relationship Instagram official by sharing their first photos on her main feed. One image depicts Blanco embracing her among friends, while another captures a moment of affection as she leans back to kiss him. The caption reads, “New York, my favorite moments w you this week ??,” with Blanco responding with a simple pineapple emoji.
Although their romance is relatively recent, Gomez and the pop engineer have a history, having collaborated on several occasions. Blanco co-produced Gomez’s latest song, “Single Soon,” released in August and debuting at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, the duo worked together on Blanco’s "I Can’t Get Enough" alongside Tainy and J Balvin in 2019.
