Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency has been working round the clock to cut down federal expenses and ensuing job cuts across federal departments. However, one of its most controversial move remains the 'what did you do' job justification email that has already garnered nearly a million responses from a million federal workers, while others who have not sent it lie in wait for their outcome.

Elon Musk's new move

Elon Musk's department decided to send job justification emails that will seek details from a federal employees about their work performance, and if DOGE is not content with the responses then further steps may be thought of ahead.

However, this job justification email matter has now faced the axe after Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard and other Republicans are asking their respective federal departments not to follow through on this job justification email as of now, and focus on their work instead. This defiance by Trump's new federal appointees has brought the rift within the political framework of the Republican President in broad daylight, and created a major wave of controversy that would be tough to recover from.
