How to schedule an email on Outlook?

Sending an email later on Microsoft Outlook for Windows is a quick process that can be completed in just a few clicks. To schedule an email for later delivery, first open Outlook on your Windows device and either create a new email or respond to an existing one. Compose your message as you normally would, adding the recipient and a subject line.

Next, navigate to the Options tab located in the message window and select Delay delivery from the ribbon. This will open a Properties box where you can find the Delivery options section. Check the box next to "Do not deliver before" and select the desired date and time for sending the email.


Once you have selected the date and time, click the Close button to exit the Properties box. You will then return to the email window, where you can click Send to schedule the message for later delivery. If you need to edit or cancel a scheduled email, you can do so by going to your Outbox folder.

For Mac

Both the classic and new versions of Outlook on Mac offer the same method for scheduling an email.

To schedule an email, first, open Outlook on your Mac and click on either New email or New message, depending on the version you are using. Alternatively, you can reply to an existing message.
