Flash flooding is apprehended across the Interstate Corridor 95 from New Jersey to Massachusetts, including big cities like New York and Boston. It may hit a population of 31 million living in these areas. According to 'Fox Weather', further rain may develop in the mid-Atlantic on Wednesday and spread northward sweeping the vast areas of Northeast and New England. The weather office has issued a Flood Watch for Thursday for the area from New Jersey to Massachusetts. Earlier, a Flood Warning was issued for Pawcatuck River at Westerly, Rhode Island, it may hit Washington and New London counties.

Powerful Thunderstorms

FOX Forecast Center has also said that powerful thunderstorms may develop in North Texas, the Florida Peninsula, and South Carolina on Wednesday. It may further get strength and Thursday and Friday may be the worst days. It may be accompanied by strong and dangerous gusts, winds and heavy hails.

The areas of California, buried under ten feet of snow may have a respite from further blizzards, and the snow thus deposited may replenish water resources like lakes and reservoirs, proving itself to be a blessing in disguise.
