What is Heardle?

Heardle is an musical puzzle game on the internet. The game will let you listen to a small portion of a well-known song and require you to guess the artiste’s name to win the game. The game is heavily inspired by the ultra-popular word game Wordle, which became a superhit during the lockdown era.

Like Wordle, you can play Heardle only on a mobile or desktop browser, but with no irritating advertisements. The game is not available as an app for iOS or Android. Likewise, Heardle actively discourages addiction by allowing you to play only one game per day. Following the game’s success, it was sold to streaming giant Spotify.


How to play Heardle?

Heardle is a pretty straightforward game. You can access the game by logging on to the official website. You can listen to the first second of the clip and type your first guess. You get six guesses where you can type the artiste’s name, which can either be an individual or a band. With every additional attempt, you get to listen to additional portions of the clip. In total, you get to listen to 16 seconds of the song, which you need to guess in six tries. If you fail to get it right in six attempts, you lose, and the game will display the correct answer.
