HBO premieres 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' with new faces, characters

HBO has premiered "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin". The series is based on the books by Sara Shepard. The first three episodes of the rebooted series 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' has been aired, while the remaining ones are slated for release in the coming weeks.

It is the rebooted version of the mystery thriller of "Pretty Little Liars". The original series, "Pretty Little Liars", was initially aired from 2010 to 2017 on ABC.

The new version of show follows a storyline similar to the original series, where a few teen girls are harassed and assaulted by a person who disguised himself by the name 'A'. However, the story of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" is set in Millwood, Pennsylvania.




The show has introduced new faces. Actor Bailee Madison plays the role of Imogen Adams, whose life changes after her mother's mysterious death. She is six months pregnant in the show and is determined to solve the mystery around her mother's death.

Meanwhile, actor Chandler Kinney portrays the character of Tabitha 'Tabby' Hayworth in the show. In the show, Tabby is Imogen's best friend and aspires to be a filmmaker. The character of Tabby works at a movie theatre and conversates with movie references.

Actor Zaria can be seen playing the role of Faran Bryant, a dancer dedicated to making a career in ballet. Bryant lives with her father, and her mother is a working woman living in Philadelphia.

Besides Madison, Kinney, and Zaria, the series stars several actors, including Malia Pyles (for the role of Minnie "Mouse" Honrada), Maia Refico (for Noa Oliver), Mallory Bechtel (for twins - Kelly and Karren), Sharon Leal (for Sidney Hayworth), Lea Salonga (for Elodie Honrada), and Zakiya Young (for Corey Bryant).

Male actors Eric Johnson, Alex Aiono and Carson Rowland are also part of the show.
