'Hawkeye' star Jeremy Renner said he is missing his happy place as he shares a photo of his Nevada home in the Reno area with a significant amount of snow piled high up on snowbanks on Instagram.

He is hospitalized after a New Year's Day snowplow accident on the property. People magazine reported that, on January 1, Renner was run over by an "extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment" and was airlifted to a nearby medical center.

Renner spent his 52nd birthday in the hospital on January 7 due to orthopedic injuries and blunt chest trauma.



Recently, he shared a video on Instagram of himself being taken into a room by a nurse for a medical scan and wrote, "I wish you all a very special night."

While the actor is on the mend, he still has a long road to recovery. Renner's sister Kym also told PEOPLE that The Avengers star was crushing all progress goals.
