Harry Potter actor Tom Felton remembers Alan Rickman’s warning after he repeatedly stepped on his cloak
Tom Felton, the Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, recalled Alan Rickman, who warned him not to step on his cloak, which was attacked to his neck.

Felton was recently busy with the promotion of his upcoming memoir. During the promotion, he posted a promotional video on social media giving an anecdote about Alan Rickman. The name of the memoir is Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard.
He shared the memory as Alan Rickman told him in no uncertain terms, not one step on his clock. At first, he thought it a joke until he and the death eaters giggled and looked at each other. Quickly he understood that Rickman was not joking.
In the next take, the director insisted he should walk as close as he could to Rickman. As he got about halfway through the Hall, he stepped on Rickman’s cloak. Felton added that it could be dangerous since the cloak was attached around Rickman’s neck.
Even after being warned, he stepped on the cloak; Rickman turned to him and gave an unforgettable look that he never wanted to see again.
