Harris's polling numbers are less rosy as compared to Trump? Here's what super PAC president says
Supporters of Kamala Harris shouldn't be overly optimistic and sanguine about recent polls showing her ahead of Donald Trump.

The remark by McLean came at the time when the vice president is to be inaugurated as the party nominee at the Democratic National Convention being held in Chicago the coming week. The polling averages show that Harris is, in general, leading Trump by almost 3 percentage points, according to FiveThirtyEight, whereas, Harris is ahead by 1.5 points according to RealClearPolitics and less than 1 point according to Cook Political Report.

Currently, the polls conducted by CBS/YouGov, Emerson College, and The New York Times/Siena College show that Harris is slightly ahead of Trump. This is the case even in some of the swing states. Numbers have greatly changed from what they were only a month ago, when Trump was enjoying a formidable lead over Joe Biden.
In North Carolina, a crucial swing state, Kamala Harris is running for president. Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 contest was partly brought on by his declining polling numbers following his unimpressive showing in the first debate. Democrats' confidence in winning the election has increased due to an increase in polling numbers since he withdrew and endorsed Harris.
