He said when Joe Biden was the main contender, he feared that the November 5 election would be a disaster and the Democrats would simply lose. But soon after the incumbent president stepped aside and endorsed Kamala Harris, he felt it was Trump who was staring at defeat. Talking to the 'Guardian', he said it was depressing for so many weeks and then it was instantly not depressing. He said he is now hopeful and added it is the time for the Democrats to blow and the party has a history of blowing it.

He said he had noticed that the campaign was fearful of inspiring MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters. He also predicted that the Democrats would would flip it, buck the trend and be fine in the 2022 midterms.

Moore criticizes Joe Biden

Criticizing Joe Biden, Moore said the US President would be remembered for funding the war in Gaza and supplying arms to Netanyahu, and giving him extra money to kill Palestinian civilians. He also said he was saddened when Biden flew to Tel Aviv and hugged Benjamin Netanyahu after the October 7 attack by Hamas.

Moore praises Kamala Harris

Complimenting Kamala Harris, Moore said she sent a strong signal that things changed by not picking up Josh Shapiro as her running mate. The Pennsylvania governor had called out student protesters against the war in Gaza. He was also accused of sexual harassment by a senior aide.
