Actor and singer Hailee Steinfeld has confessed about the “incredible women” in her life, including her grandmother, and BFFs such as singer Taylor Swift and actor Florence Pugh. Here’s what she said.

While talking to PEOPLE magazine, Hailee Steinfeld talked about her friendship with Florence Pugh and Taylor Swift, and the other women who have inspired her, including her grandmother, and some female filmmakers.

"I've had a lot of incredible women in my life from a very young age. So, I've never had a problem speaking up for myself,” she said to the magazine. Hailee said that it started with “my mom and my grandmother” and then her female cousins who she could look up to, who are "incredible mothers and incredible businesswomen".

In her career, Hailee said that she had the opportunity to work with "some incredible female filmmakers who have inspired me within the field that I'm in by owning their power".

About her colleague Florence Pugh, Hailee said that her on-set attitude is "incredibly exciting and inspiring". She said that she will "never forget the moment" that she met Florence while shooting Hawkeye.

"Watching Florence walk on set like she had been there since day one was incredibly exciting and inspiring. She is so wickedly talented and has the best sense of humour. It's just amazing to be around,” she said.

Hailee added that she “hit it off very quickly” with the Black Widow star, and thinks “it's fun to find friends” while at work. “To be able to stand back and watch her and cheer her on from afar has been a very exciting thing for me," added Hailee.

Hailee Steinfeld featured in Taylor Swift’s song Bad Blood's music video in 2015. About the collaboration, she said that it was "the coolest to be a part of her music video", adding that when you get a call from Taylor Swift, “you run to the phone” irrespective of what she is going to say.

She added that to be a part of "Taylor's world and her vision was an honour, truly". Steinfeld wants to catch Taylor Swift performing at one of her 'Eras' tour acts.
