Google's refurbished Pixel 7 family now features reduced pricing with the Pixel 7a available for $339, Pixel 7 for $359, and Pixel 7 Pro for $539 following removal of Pixel 6 models from the refurbished store
Google removed the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones from its refurbished store, leaving the Pixel 7 family as the only available refurbished devices. The company previously removed the Pixel 6a from the refurbished store earlier in 2025 due to battery issues.

The removal comes approximately one year after the launch of the refurbished store and follows the release of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro earlier in 2025.

Google reduced pricing on all Pixel 7 refurbished models. The Pixel 7 Pro is now available for $539, down from the previous refurbished price of $629. The Pixel 7 costs $359, reduced from $429. The Pixel 7a is priced at $339.

All refurbished units have undergone testing procedures with replacement of required parts. The refurbishment process focuses on battery, housing, and screen components, and includes updates to the latest Android version.

Pixel 8 models not yet available as refurbished devices

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have not been added to the refurbished store. Google marketed the Pixel 8 family as the first "AI-first" smartphones featuring silicon designed for artificial intelligence applications.

The timing of the Pixel 6 family removal aligns with the typical smartphone depreciation cycle, occurring approximately one year after the refurbished store launched and coinciding with new Android version releases. The absence of Pixel 8 models from refurbished inventory may be temporary, given Google's continued emphasis on AI capabilities in its smartphone lineup.

Refurbished inventory availability varies

Stock levels for refurbished devices are less predictable than new device inventory. Availability of specific models and configurations may be limited. Customers can view current refurbished Pixel inventory through the Google Store.
