Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser, who last year became the ceremony's first solo female host, is back for an encore after a well-reviewed turn.

Golden Globes 2026 Winners (Probable)
The top two categories appear to be largely settled this year, with the Leonardo DiCaprio-led epic "One Battle After Another" having the inside track for best musical or comedy, and the Shakespeare drama "Hamnet" the favorite in drama. But "Sinners," Ryan Coogler's vampire horror film, could play spoiler on the drama side, and don't rule out Josh Safdie's screwball table-tennis comedy "Marty Supreme," whose star, Timothée Chalamet, has embarked on a madcap press tour.
On the television side, it looks to be a year of newcomers, with the Noah Wyle-led medical drama "The Pitt" and Seth Rogen's Hollywood satire "The Studio" favored to repeat their Emmy wins. For the first time -- in recognition of its growth as a visual medium -- there is also a podcast category, though it has been the subject of controversy.
