'Godzilla Minus One' is a rocking success at the Box Office. Know how much has it earned so far

It is a great time to be a fan of ‘Godzilla Minus One’ which is continuing to make history. It has attained a score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and has an amazing storyline and VFX it has recently topped the box office collections and has also had a record viewership on Netflix which is an OTT streaming service. It has been reported that Director Takashi Yamazaki has expressed his interest in making a sequel to this super hit movie.


The movie is set in post-war Japan where Kamikaze Pilot Koichi, lands on an island towards the end of the war and abandons duty towards his country. However, he is forced to defend himself when things take a negative turn with a Godzilla attacking the island. Will Japan which is just recovering from the effects of the war be able to deal with the threat emerging from the Godzilla? This will only be known when one watches the movie. The director worked for three years to perfect the script before making the movie.

Speaking about the sequel of the movie, the director explained that he is interested in exploring the idea of a sequel though no information is available about its production and other details such as casting, and possible storyline.
