Girls Aloud members participate in Hyde Park's Race for Life for Sarah Harding
The race was a charity run for Sarah Harding, their former bandmate. Girl Aloud's three surviving members paid tribute to Sarah, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2021. It was a 5k run in Hyde Park, London, on Sunday.

Girls Aloud was formed in 2002 while competing on the TV programme 'Popstars: The Rivals'. "Sound of the Underground" and "Love Machine" are the band's top hits. They disbanded, and all the members had solo careers from 2013 onwards. They were all successful. Coyle even said that she was not able to believe Sarah's illness. She said that she was hanging out with her last year during this time, and she did not even seem sick.
She said that the entire time she was in denial that her friend was so sick and that it would all be okay until she succumbed. Hundreds ran in the race and wore pink T-shirts saying "Race for Life."
Roberts said that Harding resembled a firework as she had electric energy, and there was a huge difference in energy when she was not present with them. She said that the band does not feel like 'Girls Aloud' anymore without Harding. The fundraising concludes with a gala dinner scheduled to take place later in 2022.
Sarah Harding was 39-year-old and died in September 2021. She revealed that she had breast cancer, which had spread to her body's other parts.
