Even after a half-decade of its launch, email continues to remain relevant in the always-transforming cyberworld. No matter whether you open the mailbox daily or not, an email address is just as needed as a physical address. It planned to replace the traditional mailbox and it has succeeded mercilessly.

However, one problem that you might have noticed lately, irrespective of what email service you use be it Gmail, Outlook or any other. You might have noticed a truck load of emails from one particular sender and if it isn’t necessary, you may opt out of this service. These emails are promotional messages sent to you because you have subscribed to their daily, weekly or periodic newsletter.

You may be wondering that you never subscribed to these, how come these are being delivered to you then? Well, every time you sign up on a website. For instance, you might have signed up on a news platform and while filling the form, you might have accidentally turned on the email notification toggle or for another instance, social media sites also send a bunch of daily email(s) notifying users of every other update. If these are irrelevant to you, you should unsubscribe from these to not miss an important email.

How to unsubscribe from unwanted emails?

Gmail: Open the email, right next to the email address – you will find an “Unsubscribed” link. Click on it. Now, click on the “Unsubscribe” button to get away from these unwanted or spam emails.

Outlook: Outlook has a pretty more straightforward approach. It simply says, “Getting too much email? Unsubscribe” and click on Unsubscribe link to bid goodbye to spam.
