George Clooney to play superhero? Here's what actor has to say
George Clooney was asked about whether he would play the role of Batman or any superhero.

In a surprising cameo appearance in "The Flash", George Clooney briefly stepped back into the role of Batman's alter ego, Bruce Wayne. However, Clooney has made it clear that this reprisal was a one-time occurrence.
Addressing his decision to feature in the DC Comic film, Clooney playfully remarked on the widespread curiosity surrounding his return. Clooney told Entertainment Tonight, "I don't think there's enough drugs in the world for me to go back."
Clooney is well-aware of the mixed reception of the 1997 film "Batman & Robin," in which he famously portrayed the hero alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze. The Warner Bros. production faced harsh criticism from reviewers, and Clooney often jokes about its reputation. In 2019, he revealed advising his friend Ben Affleck against taking on the role in the 2016 film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Clooney's most recent directorial project, "The Boys in the Boat", features Callum Turner and Joel Edgerton and is an adaptation of Daniel James Brown's 2013 book of the same name. The film is set to be released in the United States on December 25.
