Actor-filmmaker George Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife Amal Clooney are reportedly living separately due to their busy work schedule and it has put their marital life under pressure. 'In Touch' has reported that the actor will soon move to New York City and will stay there at least for a year to star in 'Broadway', while Amal will continue to be in their Lake Como villa, separated by a distance of about 4,000 miles. The news outlet has also reported that the marriage of the star personalities is starting to crack under pressure. Quoting unnamed sources, it has also said that they are in two very different worlds 90 percent of the day and are leading separate lives.

The outlet also reported that George runs his filmmaking operation, from directing and producing to acting in other people’s projects like a military general.

On the other hand, 46-year-old human rights lawyer Amal Clooney is equally busy and she often spends time in London working with clients or in The Hague, Netherlands, where the International Criminal Court is located. She spent the past four months working on a panel with other international legal experts in The Hague. Besides, she made it clear to George Clooney before their marriage that her career would never take a back seat to his career.

Consequently, the only time the celebrity couple spends together is when they’re on vacation. But, they both have their staff and friends, and there’s not a lot of crossover.
