Release Date

Genshin Impact version 5.2 will be released on November 20, 2024. This update will also launch the game for Xbox consoles. Xbox players can access the latest characters, events and regions starting from this date.

Characters

The 5.2 update introduces two new playable characters, Chasca and Ororon.

Chasca is a 5-star Anemo character who uses a bow. She has a unique skill that lets her fire powerful elemental bullets based on her team composition. Chasca will also have a dedicated quest that reveals more about her backstory.

Ororon, an Electro bow user, has skills that complement Electro and Hydro teams. His Elemental Burst allows him to deal effective area-of-effect (AoE) damage, helping players manage groups of enemies. Outside of combat, Ororon boosts gliding speed for other team members.

Banners

The first banner phase will feature 5-star Anemo character Chasca and a rerun of Lyney. The 4-star Electro character, Ororon, will also have an increased drop rate during this phase. Both characters will have distinct abilities for players to explore.

In the second phase, popular characters Zhongli and Neuvillette will make a return. This will give players a chance to add these favorites to their teams again.

Location

The 5.2 update will introduce Ochknatlan, a new location within Natlan. This area has high levels of Abyssal contamination and is protected by the Flower-Feather clan, of which Chasca is a peacekeeper. Travelers will have to navigate this area carefully to avoid danger.

A powerful dragon guards the ancient city of Ochknatlan, attacking intruders on sight. Players will need to uncover the secrets of the dragon’s hostility. A character named Cocouki, who can clear contamination, will assist players in their journey through this region.
