What is the reason behind the price increase in Wisconsin?
The price increase is attributed to a fire in a refinery in Toledo, Ohio, in which two people died, resulting in the plant's shutdown. And without adequate gas from the dependable refinery, Wisconsin has to purchase its required fuel from somewhere else, leading to a price hike.
The refinery is expected to resume operations soon, and once it gets streamlined, the price will come down.
