Fundstrat's 2025 stock market outlook is out and its projection is not as rosy as you think; here's what you should take note
There are chances that the S&P 500 could see a significant jump in value in the coming year, but may soon end up seeing a major sell-off midway into the year, according to Fundstrat. Here's more on how S&P will perform in 2025

Is S&P 500'S prospects in danger next year?
When the mandatory 'September dip' happened this year, there were concerns that S&P 500 may start demonstrating a downward trend thereafter. However, towards the start of November, things again began coming back on track, and after the announcement of the US Presidential election results, S&P 500 began seeing record highs. If a report is to be believed, a sharp sell-off may put the brakes on S&P 500, and if the routine September dip also adds up to this, one can expect some bad news for this stock index towards the end of 2025.Also Read : YouTube TV's monthly price rises by $10 starting January
Is there a sell-off underway?
As per Fundstrat, there is a high possibility that S&P 500 will continue soaring through 2025, but a sharp sell off is expected to happen midway into the year, which could de-settle the stock index for a bit. However, even before that, Fundstrat expects that the S&P 500 can see a minimum of a 16% surge, says a Yahoo Finance report. Also Read : Who is Jay-Z's alleged illegitimate son?
