If reports are to be believed, cricket is officially making a comeback to the Los Angeles Olympics, after more than a hundred years, and will be played in the popular T20 format, typically popular across the world.

It is also interesting to note that United States was one of the hosting nations of the cricket's T20 World Cup very recently, and the sport has garnered some crazy popularity since then, as it is quite similar to the game of baseball.

Which are the other sports to be seen at the LA28 Olympics?

The LA28 Olympics will see some new sports, including flag football, lacrosse, along with paraclimbing, which is a new set of Paralympic discipline, typically followed in the United States.

Surfing, skateboarding and sport climbing, which have been seen in earlier editions of the Olympic Games, will also be featured in the upcoming Los Angeles Olympics too.

Los Angeles becomes a three-time host city

Los Angeles will set a new record for hosting the Olympic Games for the third time, and will share this feat with the likes of Paris and London. Los Angeles would surely take a leaf out of Paris' book, and use as much readily available infrastructure as possible, and think out of the box, just like Paris, where the opening ceremony was held on the banks of the river Seine, leading up to the iconic Eiffel Tower.
