Fresh glimpse of Aang, June, Jet, and others in 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'

In anticipation of the 2024 premiere of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon’s cherished animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the streaming giant has provided fans with a fresh glimpse into the upcoming fantasy show.

This move comes as a special treat in celebration of the Winter Solstice, shedding light on six new images from the first season.

Offering a promising peek into the reimagined world of the Four Nations—Water, Earth, Air, and Fire—the images showcase the show's central characters.


Aang

Protagonist Aang, portrayed by Gordon Cormier, takes center stage in a captivating meditation pose, accompanied by a noteworthy appearance of the Forest spirit Hei Bai in the background.

Jet

Sebastian Amoruso debuts as Jet, the charismatic leader of a group opposing the Fire Nation. Jet's character, rooted in a tragic past, emerges as a key ally for Team Avatar, capturing the essence of the beloved animated series.

Gran Gran

Casey Camp-Horinek steps into the role of Gran Gran (Kanna), the sagacious grandmother of Sokka and Katara. With 80 years of wisdom, she becomes a crucial supporter as Aang embarks on his mission to restore balance to the world.
