Jonathan Arrauz appeared in place of Linor Remarkably, Arroz has only appeared in five games this season hitting .154/.214/.154 with six strikeouts.


Announcing him as the last-minute scratch from Friday’s game, Mets’ also revealed that on Saturday, Linor is set to undergo imaging before understanding the approach for upcoming matches.



It is to mention that the Metz star will be listed on a day-to-day basis until there is a definite answer to why he is experiencing soreness. Friday was the first in a four-game series between Mets and Braves. It is hoped that Linor will play again before the series concludes.

While Mets’ did not reveal any details about the kind of injury experienced by Lindor, it is to note that until Friday, the Mets star was yet to miss a game this season. It is only understandable that the player experienced exhaustion and soreness in his body.


Francisco Lindor has had a commendable season this year even though the Mets are battling for consistency. As per reports, Lindor is hitting .246/.333/.469 with 22 home runs and 18 stolen bases.


Even though both Mets’ players, Lindor and Pete Alonso have showcased successful skills this season, their team has not performed well.
