Four-part ITVX series ‘Litvinenko’: David Tennant plays role of Alexander Litvinenko

Litvinenko will explore how the Scotland Yard police officers, who were asked to look into the 2006 poisoning and death of a former Russian Federal Security Service officer, whose mysterious and suspicious circumstances captured the attention of the nation's media, will be examined.

In the history of the Metropolitan Police, it was regarded as one of the most "dangerous and complex" investigations.

Margarita Levieva plays the wife of Litvinenko in the show. Mark Bonnar, a star of Line of Duty and Unforgotten, plays the detective who oversaw the investigation. Barry Sloane, Daniel Ryan, Richard Pepper, and Neil Maskell are other actors who appear in the programme. Barry Sloane plays a detective assigned to interrogate the protagonist from his hospital bed in the days preceding his demise.
