Four hospitalised after Los Angeles International Airport witnesses carbon dioxide gas leak
Four people have been hospitalised, following a carbon dioxide gas leak at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). One man is in critical condition.

One man was found in critical condition with no pulse. The officials stated that only a trace of the carbon dioxide gas had remained in the utility room. The officials added that safety crews were using fans to clear the gas.
The official Twitter handle of the airport noted that LAX-bound flights of United Airlines were being held at their airports of origin owing to the situation. The LAX airport tweeted that all travellers were advised to contact their airline for the latest information of flights. Besides, the airport said that fire crews were at Terminal 8 to ensure there is no untoward incident.
Passengers will be allowed into Terminal 8 after the fire crew declares the area safe. Meanwhile, all other terminals at LAX Airport were functioning normally.
