Fortnite x Spider-Man in content update v24.40: Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, and more

When will the new Fortnite content update release?

The Fortnite content update v24.40 will be released on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, have announced the update and released a teaser.

What does the Fortnite teaser show?

The official Twitter handle of Fortnite shared the teaser with the message, "It’s Miles!! And he brought… a friend? Spider-Senses say you’ll want to stick around for tomorrow’s update!” See it for yourself here:




Apart from bug fixes, the players will get another Spider-Man collaboration, with two new skins – Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 (both from Marvel Comics) – and a gameplay item. Also, apparently the Star Wars event will end as soon as the new update comes out.

New Mythic item

A new variant of Spider-Man's Web-Shooters, the new Mythic item on Fortnite that was first released in Chapter 3 Season 1, will be out in the upcoming content update.

Also, some items and abilities may be vaulted, including Lightsabers and DC-15 Blasters, say reports.

What time is the Fortnite content update releasing?

Reports say the Fortnite update is likely to be released around 4 am Eastern Time.
