Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2 is all about new skins and secret quests

Since its launch on January 31, Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2 has been revealing new content to keep gamers happy. The new season by Epic Games, which runs till March 25 this year, features an OG Battle Pass that offers 45 tiers of rewards.

The rewards in the game contain newer iterations of classic characters like the Black Knight, Cuddle Team Leader, and Sparkle Specialist. The characters are making a comeback as the Knight Conqueror, Cuddle Team Specialist, and Sparkle Diva. Each outfit has an alternate style as well that can be unlocked in the OG Pass.

Fortnite OG’s new skins

The Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2 Battle Pass has three new skins that can be unlocked as gamers move towards the max Seasonal level. No bonus rewards or V-Bucks can be accumulated in the skins. The pass has emoticons, sprays, back blings, pickaxes and gliders that match with all three skins.


The OG Pass is valued at 1,000 V-Bucks or $9. It is also included in a subscription of Fortnite Crew.

Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2’s weapon loot pool

The addition of new items to the weapon loot pool makes the game even more interesting. As players complete the levels, weapons like Suppressed Pistol, Chug Jug, Cozy Campfire, Boogie Bomb, Minigun, Impulse Grenade and Crossbow will be made available. A Multi-Surface Damage Trap and Small Shield Portion are available at launch as well, according to Polygon.

The game will bring back iconic locations like the Junk Junction, Tilted Towers and Shifty Shafts.

Secret quests also available

Epic Games has added four secret quests that will be displayed in the in-game notifications once the player completes certain tasks. These quests require players to explore the map and discover items. The quests include hitting players with Boogie Bombs, visiting the Motel at night, searching a chest at Umbrella Mine and using a Chug Jug at Tomato Town. These adventures are not repeatable and can be activated only once. Bonus XP will be earned on completion.
