Fortnite: Lego officially teases crossover event. Check the teaser here

LEGO has taken to 'X' (formerly Twitter) to officially release the teaser of the LEGO x Fortnite crossover event that has been rumoured for a number of weeks.

The rumours of the collaboration first started circulating earlier this month, but now LEGO has officially tweeted confirming the crossover event.

In a post on 'X', the official account of LEGO posted a photo of Fortnite Supply Llama made out of LEGO. The image was captioned with a thinking emoji. This has left the fans in the same position as the emoji.




Although official details are still not confirmed by Epic Games, according to the rumors, the new event will see players playing as actual LEGO figures. The gameplay will be around mining and crafting.

It is expected that the new LEGO x Fortnite event will be a part of three new game modes coming to Fortnite in December, with the LEGO event taking place on December 7. Along with LEGO, there are rumours circulating that suggest that there could be a Doctor Who x Fortnite collaboration happening in the near future.

Doctor Who x Fortnite would likely come to commemorate 60 years of Doctor Who, which was first aired in November 1963. At the end of this month, a special three-part series of Doctor Who will air.

LEGO's collaboration with a video game is not a first for the toy company. In the past, LEGO has collaborated with many big video game names, from Super Mario to Sonic the Hedgehog and others.
