Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix: Everything we know so far

Fortnite’s latest update, Chapter 2 Remix, is expected to launch in early November 2024. This new chapter brings back familiar locations and favorite characters.

Release Date

Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix, also known as Chapter 2 OG, will launch on November 2, 2024. This release coincides with the end of Chapter 5 Season 4’s Battle Pass. An in-game timer and a leaked roadmap confirm the timing. A teaser package sent to creators has confirmed the title, hinting at returning to Chapter 2.

Following a live event ending the current season, Fortnite will reportedly go offline briefly. This mirrors the black hole event between Chapters 1 and 2, which took the game offline in 2019. The Remix theme brings back elements from Chapter 2’s early seasons.

Schedule

Similar to Season OG, Chapter 2 Remix will release weekly updates. Each update will introduce a different map and features from Chapter 2. Here’s the expected schedule:

Chapter 2’s map introduced locations that became popular with players. The following locations are expected to feature in Remix:

Season 1: Craggy Cliffs, Dirty Docks, Frenzy Farm, Holly Hedges, Lazy Lake, Misty Meadows, Steamy Stacks, Slurpy Swamp, Sweaty Sands, Weeping Woods
Season 2: The Agency, The Grotto, The Rig, The Shark, The Yacht
Season 3: Catty Corner, Rickety Rig, The Authority, The Fortilla

In Season 3 of Chapter 2, much of the map was underwater. It remains unclear if this will return in Remix, but some map changes are likely.
