Fornite Winterfest 2023: When does it start in Fortnite Chapter 5? Check everything you need to know here

Fornite Winterfest is the annual event hosted for gamers every December and everyone is waiting for Epic Games, the company, to release the official date of the festival.

Fortnite Winterfest 2023 is on the way. While the fans of the game are being treated well after the new additions such as Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, Epic Games is likely to update the gamers about the annual holiday event soon.

When does Fortnite Winterfest 2023 start?
Last year's Winterfest started during the second week of December (on December 13). So it could be that the annual festival should be starting near to this date.


Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR posted on 'X' (formally Twitter) that Fortnite Winterfest will kick off in mid-December.

Since Fortnite is updated every Tuesday, you can expect December 12 to be the actual date of the event.

Epic Games has yet to confirm dates for the festival, however, there are some leaks and clues we can dig into to figure out when it will return this year.

If you check the Fortnite Item Shop, you can get a sneak peek into Winterfest items like Doggo and Reina Skins, the Holiday Ham Pickaxe, and the Party Favor Emote. With this, you can expect the date to drop soon.

ShiinaBR then went on to say that Winterfest will end after Epic's company-wide holiday break in January, alongside Fortnite Update 28.10. Last year's event ended on January 3, so based on that we'd expect Fortnite Winterfest 2023 to come to an end on January 2, 2023.

What can you expect in Winterfest 2023?
Since not even the actual date is announced, most of the details are yet to be out. However, leaker @ShinaBR posted that Fortnite Winterfest 2023 will include a brand new POI for the Chapter 5 Season 1 map. One sad leak is that there might not be any There is NO Winterfest cabin in this year's Winterfest.


"There are still free daily gifts, but you need to finish a match to get it," said ShinaBR.
