Former 'Wild 'N Out' star Jacky Oh passed away due to plastic surgery complications: Autopsy report

Jacky Oh, known for her role on "Wild 'N Out," passed away due to complications arising from a cosmetic procedure, as revealed in an autopsy report released on Monday.

Born Jacklyn Smith, Oh traveled from Georgia to Florida for a "gluteal augmentation" surgery on May 30, as detailed in the report by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner. Following the surgery, she was prescribed ciprofloxacin, oxycodone, and ondansetron—an antibiotic, painkiller, and anti-nausea medication, respectively.

Oh, 33, developed a severe headache post-surgery, prompting a nurse's recommendation to discontinue ondansetron and take ibuprofen as needed. Unfortunately, her condition worsened, with Oh describing her head as "burning" on the night of May 31.


Her aunt, who accompanied her, urgently contacted emergency services, and Oh was transported unresponsive to Florida Mercy Hospital. Tragically, she was pronounced dead.

Oh leaves behind three children she shared with her longtime partner, DC Young Fly, a rapper and comedian who also starred in "Wild 'N Out." The popular improv comedy show, created by Nick Cannon in 2005 and airing on VH1, expressed its condolences in a statement released in June. The show remembered Oh for her impact and treasured contributions throughout her five seasons as a beloved friend and colleague of the cast.

In their statement, the "Wild 'N Out" team emphasized Oh's loving nature and her vital role as a dedicated mother to her three beautiful children.
