Former soccer player Dani Rhodes and T.J. Watt of Steelers get married in resort wedding in Mexico

It was the most picture-worthy wedding of Pittsburgh Steelers star T.J. Watt and Dani Rhodes who is a former All-American player at an intimate resort in front of family and friends on Saturday night in Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas.

As per social media reports, the stars walked down the aisle along the backdrop of the sun setting and the waves being caught by the rocks slowly as they lashed onto them. The former University of Wisconsin star players walked together hand in hand on the beach of the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.

To sign off the night, they had a ceremony like in the movie of fireworks as the couple danced for the very first time after being married on the terrace facing the ocean. Several special moments from the night were caught on camera and put on social media by the couples’ family and friends.


The caption: "Best day of my life” was put by both of them on the respective social media posts of their wedding. The wedding was held a year after the two got engaged.
Wedding guest list included Watt's current and former team members from college and the NFL. Watt and Rhodes have been dating since their time at the Wisconsin University, where both excelled in their respective fields.

T.J. Watt faced some injuries and a positional alteration to become an All-American defence football player. After a smashing junior season, Watt was chosen in the first round of the NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been a prominent face and strength since the first day and last year signed the largest contract in NFL history for a defensive player.
