Ford upgrades iconic F-150 Raptor. Check price, features, other details
Ford has revved up the F-150 Raptor, and the 2023 version has a higher performance than the desert racing-inspired pickup, which has been very successful for Ford for over 10 years. It contains a 700-hp supercharged V8, making it the most powerful...

The upgradation includes higher flow intake of air and exhaust systems, more robust oil cooling to handle steep grades and high-speed driving for longer durations. F-150 has an aggressive look due to a power dome placed on the hood that's an inch taller, improving heat extraction simultaneously.
The Raptor
"The Raptor" is also charged with a stronger front axle, a stronger driveline and a driveshaft made from aluminum. All these additions help match the extra torque and power, the former of which rates at 640 lb-ft. Its towing capacity is 500 pounds more than the previous version at 8,700 pounds.
Fit for long drive
It has the signature long-travel suspension that carries on intact and has a few tweaks here and there to help with the 100-pound weight gain. It is a rounding error on a three-ton truck.
It has dampers that are controlled by a computer and help manage the stiffness, which soaks up jumps and bumps while the body stays in control. It has all-terrain tires of 37 inches and gives a 13.1-inch ground clearance. It will go up against the Ram 1500 TRX, which is 702 hp, for the bragging rights.
The goal for Ford is to build a phenomenal off-roader, and they are confident that they have been successful in doing so. It starts at $109,145 and is the most expensive pickup that Ford has ever had in its offering.
