Footballer Christian Pulisic suffers injury on an international tour with US
Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has suffered an injury while on an international tour with the USA. He sustained injuries during a training session earlier this week. It is not the first time Pulisic has suffered injuries on international duty.

Pulisic will be evaluated daily to determine if he can play in the next friendly fixture against the United States. USA's next friendly match is scheduled for September 27 against Saudi Arabia in Murcia. It will be USA's final match before the finalization of their squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. For the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the USA is placed in Group B alongside Wales, England, and Iran.
Notably, this is not the first time that the 24-year-old footballer has suffered any injury on an international tour. However, he would be hoping for nothing serious this time as he is fighting to secure a place for him under the new Chelsea manager Graham Potter. Pulisic's future had come under dark clouds during the tenure of the previous coach Thomas Tuchel, as the player did not get regular opportunities. Pulisic also recently talked about his strained relationship with Thomas Tuchel.
In an autobiography, the Chelsea winger stated that he felt "very disappointed" after Tuchel omitted him for the semi-final of the Champions League last season. Therefore, Pulisic hopes to get completely fit for the first match against Chelsea after international duty.
Pulisic is currently under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2024. But he was linked with several clubs, including Manchester United, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Newcastle, over the summer transfer window.
