Flash floods sweep away woman saving dog in New York
A woman trying to save her dog was swept away in Hudson Valley in New York.

Confirming the incident, Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus said that the rains dislodged boulders that rammed against the walls of the house. The woman in her thirties went there to evacuate her pet dog, but she was caught in the whirlpool that swept her away.
The civil authorities said that the rains and floods caused roads to cave in, and buildings to collapse and it will take tens of millions of dollars to repair the damage.
The storm and the rains have east and much of the north-east parts of the U.S.A. are apprehending similar devastation.
Talking to journalists, New York Governor Kathy Hochul said that at least one house has collapsed and many people are missing.
