Find Your Friends: All you may want to know about Izabel Pakzad’s debut venture

Deadline has reported that actor-filmmaker Izabel Pakzad’s directorial debut “Find your Friends” will have a star studded cast. It has also been learnt that the production has been wrapped up recently.

Cast
Helena Howard who has acted in Madeline’s Madeline, Bella Thorne who acted in Divinity, Zion Moreno of the Gossip Girls fame, Chloe Cherry who was a part of Euphoria and Sophia Ali who portrayed a major role in Uncharted are the main leads in this film, which also has Chris Bauer, Jake Manley, Israel Broussard, Harrison Gilbertson, among others.


Storyline
Ever experienced that single trip having a profound effect on you? Find Your Friends has a similar storyline. Tired of their lives in Los Angeles, Amber and her four best friends leave for Joshua Tree. Upon arrival, they realize that they are not welcome by the locals who try to intimidate them. They even seem to be stalked by some local men. Amidst all this, Amber’s friends discover her past trauma and become fed up with the toxic masculinity all around them. This is when they plot their revenge.

Production Team
Pakzad has also written and directed “Don’t Worry, it is Gonna be ok”. It won an award at the LA Film Festival. The producers are Allison Friedman, Andrea lervolino, Monika Bacardi, Gary Michael Walters and Luca Matrundola.

Speaking to the Deadline, Izabel stated that this is something she experienced in the desert and hence wanted to pen it down and make a movie about it. She thanked all the producers and the crew for it.

Release Date
The production has just been wrapped up and the post production process is expected to start soon. The producers have not yet announced the release date for this venture.
