Items found in Combs' hotel room on September 16, as per the report by USA Today, included:

• a plastic bag containing Johnson & Johnson baby oil,
• five bottles of baby oil and lubricant standing together on the bathtub floor,
• a Louis Vuitton bag containing a bottle of clonazepam prescribed to Combs' alias, Frank Black,
• two bottles of lubricant in the right nightstand drawer,
• a bottle of medication in the left nightstand with two clear plastic bags filled with a pink substance,
• a fanny pack with $9,000 in cash hanging off the bed,
• cell phones belonging to Combs and Kristina "KK" Khorram, who has been described as Combs' "right hand"

Special Agent Yasin Binda of Homeland Security Investigations testified on May 16 and told jurors about the things her team found, which included prescription medicine, baby oil, lubricant, and a gadget she described as "possibly mood lighting."

Eight men, four women, and a group of alternates made up the jury, which was shown pictures of the room and an exhibit bag containing drugs that were discovered in his nightstand drawers and tested positive for ketamine and MDMA.

The Manhattan courtroom has heard testimony from witnesses in Combs' case thus far regarding Combs' alleged drug use, which his ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura Fine characterised as "daily."

She added that when he used drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, marijuana, ketamine, and GHB, his mood shifted.
