Final Fantasy XVI to come up with a PS5 demo. Here’s everything you may want to know
Good news for fans: the Final Fantasy XVI game will launch a PlayStation 5 demo.

The demo is set to go live worldwide on June 12 at 4:00 am ET in the United States. Spanning over two hours, it will introduce players to the beginning of the game and follow the prologue of Final Fantasy XVI, where the protagonist, Clive Rosfield, is depicted in his younger years. The best part is that any progress made in the demo will carry over to the main game if players decide to make a purchase, offering a seamless continuation of their adventures in the war-torn world of Valisthea.
During a Final Fantasy XVI celebration event, producer Naoki Yoshida made the exciting announcement and shared further details. He revealed that completing the first demo will unlock a second Battle demo, showcasing the new real-time combat system in action.
This battle demo will provide a glimpse into Final Fantasy XVI's combat mechanics once Clive has acquired greater strength and abilities. Although this particular demo is set in a dark stronghold, Yoshida assured fans that the rest of the game will feature a brighter and more diverse environment.
Final Fantasy XVI is expected to be one of the franchise's most mature installments yet.
