South Korean players are getting trained by Paulo Bento, every day since arriving in Doha on Monday, including two sessions on Thursday and Saturday. Bento switched a morning practice to late afternoon along the route, as players sought the change to avoid the suffocating conditions of the Gulf nation.

Before training sessions, the coach has also conducted thorough video studies and strategy talks with the players and his staff. However, Sunday will be an off day for the players, allowing them to unwind and replenish their batteries for the next week.

Their first encounter in Group H is against Uruguay on Thursday. In terms of keeping a healthy diet, Sunday may just be a splurge day for the athletes. Throughout the competition, the Korea Football Association (KFA) sent two national team cooks to assist in the preparation of some delicious Korean food. On Sunday, the players will be able to do something new in town.
