Fever vs Dream: Allisha Gray stars as Atlanta Dream post easy win over Indiana Fever in WNBA

In a stunning show, Allisha Gray led the Atlanta Dream with 23 points, complemented by six rebounds and four assists, securing a 77-58 win against the Indiana Fever at home on Tuesday.

The Dream's success was bolstered by Brionna Jones' performance of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Nia Coffey contributed significantly from the bench with 10 points and seven rebounds, as Atlanta, which won its fifth time in six games, dominated the rebounding battle 44-27.

The Fever's two-game winning streak ended as it struggled without their star player Caitlin Clark, who remained sidelined for a fifth consecutive match due to a quad injury.



For Indiana, Natasha Howard recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Aari McDonald contributed 14 points as a substitute.

Kelsey Mitchell managed 11 points but struggled with efficiency, converting only 5 of 16 shots and missing all five attempts from three-point range. The Fever's overall shooting was poor at 36.2 percent, including 5-for-24 from three-point territory.

Atlanta shot 47 percent overall, while managing 5 of 22 from beyond the arc.

The Dream initiated the third quarter with a decisive 14-4 run, featuring consecutive layups from Jones and Brittney Griner, establishing a 47-37 advantage.

Despite Mitchell's late third-quarter layup reducing the deficit to nine, Gray's three-pointer followed by Jones's layup extended Atlanta's lead to 56-42 entering the fourth quarter.


Howard's consecutive scores brought Indiana within 60-48 with under seven minutes remaining, but Coffey's three-pointer sparked a 7-0 Atlanta run, creating a substantial 19-point lead at the five-minute mark.

The first quarter ended with Atlanta leading 22-19, and they extended their advantage to 31-27 following layups from Gray and Jones with 4:25 remaining in the second quarter.

Indiana responded with six consecutive points to lead 33-31 at 1:36. Gray's putback layup with 18.1 seconds levelled the score at 33-33 for halftime, despite Atlanta's 0-for-8 performance from three-point range.
