The FDA may have just added your favorite deodorant to its list of things to recall. Power Stick, a well-known popular deodorant brand that can be found at Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon, is being taken off the shelves.

The FDA has pulled thousands of Power Stick deodorants off the shelves in New Jersey and the rest of the US because they could be bad for your health.

Customers should check lot numbers and return items that have been recalled for a refund or proper disposal.

Usually, safety considerations are involved. For example, pollution, mislabeled products, or the identification of dangerous components like benzene, a chemical that has been connected to specific health hazards, as per a report by WOBM.

According to The Healthy, the well-known Power Stick brand was available on Amazon, New Jersey Dollar Tree Stores, and New Jersey Walmart stores. Almost 67,000 cases were sold at your favorite stores.

What should buyers do now?

You can return deodorant for a refund even if you don't have a receipt if you recently purchased it from a large retailer. Official recall notices and refund instructions can be found on the brand's website, and many retailers have lenient policies regarding recalled goods. Be sure to perform a recall search and read the label before selecting a new fragrance.
