Fast X OTT release date: Everything we know so far

"Fast X" seems to be on a superfast lane on the global box office even as reviews were mixed for the 10th installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise film. "Fast X" made splendid debut this weekend by knocking "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" out of first place and claiming the number 1 spot at the box office.

Now the question arises, when will "Fast X" release on OTT platform? The makers of "Fast and Furious" franchise film are yet to make a formal announcement regarding the OTT release date of "Fast X".

However, "Fast X" is likely to be released on the Roku Channel, Starz, and Peacock as Universal Pictures has multiple deals for the release of its movies. It's unlikely that the movie will be released on HBO Max, Disney Plus, and Netflix.


Directed by Louis Leterrier (who took over from Justin Lin during production), "Fast X" brings back the familiar crew including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster and adds several newcomers, like Brie Larson, Rita Moreno and a villain played by Jason Momoa. The ever-expanding cast also includes Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren

Reviews were mixed for "Fast X", the beginning of the end for the $6 billion franchise, which currently has a 54 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Fast X", a Universal Pictures release, is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for intense sequences of violence and action, language and some suggestive material. Running time: 134 minutes.
