Socks left at Dobby's grave on a Welsh beach imperil local wildlife, claims National Trust Wales. The beloved house elf has been a fan favourite ever since his appearance in the Harry Potter movie, making Bellatrix Lestrange's death of him in the movie all the more heart breaking.

One of the most tragic parts of the movie is when Dobby dies in Harry's clutches on Freshwater West Beach. People have begun leaving socks and other "Harry Potter" memorabilia at the site where fans erected a tribute to the house elf.

For the last eight months, National Trust Wales has been studying the area to determine whether or not the monument should be torn down.

Although it has allowed the grave to remain unaltered, the organization has warned prospective visitors who want to leave things on the Pembrokeshire shore.
